He's a technical genius , it's good to see a man who really enjoys his chosen sport. He's probably like this in everything he does .

Taekwondo is Great for self Esteem. And is almost for Every body type possible. Judo is less practioned in stead of kendo. Taekwondo is agil proven in MMA and K1 glory kickboxing.

I’m from old school before the sine wave was implemented don’t like all the bouncing a wast of time old Itf taekwondo

Tkd kata really do not have the spirit and technicality of other martial arts taekwondo originated from. Looks watered down with added kicks and lots of bouncing. I'm sure I'm missing the intention for this change

Quite. The bouncing around is very strange.

Probably you don't know an application of moves in patterns also you train karate (you wrote "TKD kata" and there is no sine motion in karate. It looks strange, it doesn't look natural but it works.

TKD has a high agility to pass in MMA and K1 glory kickboxing. It’s perfecting dynamics and physics. And what you don’t see in the extreem calculating with precise of distance. TKD is the sniper in MMA. Very accurate. TKD alone is a poor defence so have to combine that’s a thruth.

TKD kata has got less spirit true. But it is great for the individual self esteem. Personally I like gratitude and traditional spirit of the nage-no kata done by the Japanese.

The sine wave is to introduce natural movement and power. At first it might look odd, but think about it. If you move with your bodys natural movement you are free to add more power into your movement. Every movement has a specific reason, mostly technical and sometimes for estetic reason (but those are rare). Knowing this, I as a TKD practitioner see alot of things in other older martial arts in which I quiestion the effectiveness or reasoning behind the movements. I love to hear the reason behind those movement to learn to see if it makes sence.
