A group of suspects led LAPD on an intense police chase across South Los Angeles and Inglewood neighborhoods, weaving through busy traffic and ignoring red lights on Friday night.

@14:40 my black car got hit (scratched) I reversed a bit but its too late, left a nasty scratch at the corner of my front driver bumper and a small piece of the lip got clipped off but looks like it can go back in but is also scratched.

@Wheeler63what would a pit maneuver accomplish? It would cause others to wreck. Just look at the traffic. The helicopter is following him, so there is no reason to have 10-20 cars flying down the road instead of just the 1. They sont want to stop the driver, they knew he had a gun. Officer safety is number one priority, even when children are in danger

It's a shame the Producer of this footage didn't let the helicopter pilot/cameraman do the commentary. Channels 2/9 (CBS/KCAL) does the best chase footage and commentary.

I know the cops has to take safety in hand, but these kinds of chases are taking to long to get these drivers off the roads! It's a luck of the draw in who will get hurt or killed by this. It's time for cops to find a new way to stop these driver's faster and safely! 😮

Maybe quit following them with 10- 20 other cars. They are putting other drivers in danger. If cops aren't chasing them, they will probably not drive so wrecklessly. The helicopter is following them, so they wont get away.

You have a great concept. You should go before Congress and civil rights organizations to get federal funding to research and expose police corruption. With funding you can create and organization with Vehicles uniforms, equipment to record and confront these cops. You can have an app that people can use which will contact your organization and civil rights groups and stream and record these incidents for lawyers and IA and the FBI to actively watch and observe for action. You can call it Overwatch.
