I’m an American so can’t say for sure, but have wondered for some time now if Parliament would actually like to see the monarchy abolished in favor of a Republic and see Harry and Meghan as useful tools in bringing that about if people get fed up enough with their shenanigans. Charles won’t do anything because Harry is his son. It really is a shame that nothing has been done about these two.

The difference here is Diana respected and complied with HMTLQ's directive to no longer use the HRH styling. H&M may have partially complied initially but have totally disregarded the directive after the Queen's death. At this point, they'd probably ignore any new effort by KC3 for them to relinquish their use of HRH.
