during right clip, you have considered the left side of the window, while during left, top and bottom clip, u have considered left side, top side and bottom side of the window respectively...

I have a doubt at 20:45 .. Why do we use the same edge of the window for both the left clip and the right clip ? Shouldn't we chose the right edge instead? Although that won't change the answer to this particular example but I think we made a little mistake here

Sir, the right clip graphical representation in numerical is wrong. The clipping should be done from right side, while you accidentally did it again from the left side.

at 19:36 how can you decide that v3 to v1 .(outside to inside) it can be viewed as v1 to v3 (inside to outside)

hi deepak we have to follow either in clockwise or anticlockwise direction based on this we need to give the names for vertices and we have to follow the procedure. Hope your doubt has been clarified.

hi Ankit A polygon whose all interior angles are less than 180 degrees is known as a convex polygon. On the other hand, a polygon with one or more interior angles greater than 180 degrees is referred to as a concave polygon. Hope your doubt has been clarified.

if we interchange v1 and v2 in the example case and if we do left clipping for it,then i think it will go wrong sir I.e we have to save v2 as we discussed and this v2 will be outside of the window

Sir, can you tell some algorithms which can used to create polygons, hearts, triangles? i need to draw it in assembly language. I need only algorithms first.

hi hanix i think we need to apply the line and curve drawing algorithms recursively until we get the polygon or any other curves. for example consider triangle we have to call the line drawing algorithm 3 times. ( i am not 100% confirmed but according to my study i hope this will be done )

hi swetha based on the vertices we should consider whether line moves inside to outside or outside to inside. first we have to write the vertices for the polygon and follow the each vertex. hope your doubt have been clarified. thanks for following my sessions.

Sir as there is not directed edge between v2 and v3 so how we have concluded that there is (inside ,outside) initially during left cliping??

Hi shweta malik if the polygon vertices are not directed then initially we can consider either clockwise or anti clockwise direction and apply the clipping process.

hi vikas here we are performing left clip so both V1 and V2 both lies on right side so we have taken it as inside. if we apply bottom clip then some portion will be inside and some portion will be outside. hope your doubt have been clarified..

hi sarkar we have to consider the window boundary and with respect to window boundary we need to clip the polygon so i have consider the right most portion of polygon. hope your doubt have been clarified.

This example stricly shows the polygon on the left hand side of the window.....wat if it was say a bit bigger and it went out the boundary window on the right hand side...for example this one... Then we should consider the right boundary as per the algorithm isnt it?
