Hi Kym! Susan Harter here. Wonderful few days! I just wanted to warn you if you get one of those racks that you put on a hitch, make sure you really put it on!!! I was leaving Hannah park in Jacksonville going only 35 mph praise God when I heard a weird noise and I got on my walkie talkie and told Cathy something was wrong! I then looked in my rear view mirror and saw it lying in the middle of the road! Just think if I had been on an interstate! I had to go a couple of blocks to turn around to go back and there were 2 angels standing on the sidewalk asking if I needed help! By the skin of my teeth, they were able to get it into my van and shut the door! I was so blessed. Then at Jekyll island an rv repair man we had met at the park a couple of years ago for some problems just “happened” to be there and he was able to straighten it out and put it back on! Sorry this was so long but I just had to share that. The racks are wonderfully useful just make sure it’s locked on!😜

YIKES!!! Thank you! I worry about my roof box falling off!!! I never once thought about the back hitch/box. Okay. I'll definitely make sure it's secure. I'm debating whether to get it or not. I want a VAN!!! A small van. Not a mini-van. One of those City vans. LOL!! So I'm wondering if I should put the money into a hitch or not. UGH!!! It was great meeting you, Susan!!!!! 😎

The lady in the highlander has a nice amount of room. Just fyi jugs of water which we normally have anyway make great weights for canopies!

I love seeing how people set up their minivans/suvs. Would also like to see the larger vans people have built into themselves. We have a Nissan HighTop. Smaller than the sprinters, rams, fords. Love to see peoples ingenuity, and creativity. Thanks Kym! 😊

I really enjoyed this video, especially the smaller SUV setups. I have a 2006 Lexus 330RX, so I was especially happy to see the woman with the 2004 Lexus. I really hate to think of the scenario under which I might need to do this, but if anything ever happened to my dear husband, realistically, I might, so it's good to see how my Lexus could work. I really love it, so would hate to get rid of it and get a van. A Lexus and a small storage unit might work. Anyhow...Thanks for the video!

You are so welcome. I'm like you. I know I can do it if special circumstances happened. Right now, it's fun. I'm having a great time sleeping in my SUV and traveling and attending events. I'm not sure if it would still be as fun if I was out there 24/7 like a lot of other women are. I'm really not sure I could do it. It would be more of a survival mode for me, so I wouldn't think it would be as much fun. But . . . it is good to know that I CAN DO IT. 💙

you all seem so far to hang out with! I need to buy something, I only have a 2003 mini cooper. I'm so intimidated by vehicle shopping though! space, mpg, price and maintenance trying to figure out what will be best for full time but possible I would go seasonal if I find a miracle housing option.pnw based

You can do it! Well, a mini cooper is very small, but if you take out the front passenger seat and back passenger seat, that could be your bed. And then you buy a tent that attaches to give you more living area. But yeah, you're in a small car!! Adorable car though.

Start by joining the Facebook page, Butterfly Tribe Women Who Camp. Once you're on there, you're in the tribe!!! Find an event near you or sign up for one and travel. Read all the posts and find Women in your area, too.

There are no men. Women only! It's all about women lifting each other up and being there for one another. Lulu travels all over, but she visits Florida frequently and has many meetup here in the state. She's having one in Massachusetts in June!

Allow me to show you how a decent person would have asked the same question as you. "You know, I've watched a couple of your videos and I cannot hear your guests speak, so did you not give them a microphone?" Do you see the difference? And then I would taken that criticism as positive and I would have talked to my other KZfaqr friends and I would consider maybe getting a microphone or asking their thoughts, so that I can become better. Since you chose the nasty route, all I can offer you is . . . don't watch my videos.
