OMG Suzanne, considering what you went through - i.e., your fall and surgery, you look amazing! I had hip replacement surgery and it hurt like hell Back in 2012, I was living with my sister and her hubby in Beverly Hills, up Benedict Canyon before moving here, to Palm Springs. I was on my way to Santa Monica to get get my hair done and because I was in a hurry, I slipped on the hardwood floor, I was a Nurse for 22 years and knew I fractured something, turns out, it was my left femur. Before my fall, I had just spoken to my sister who was shopping at Gelson's in Sherman Oaks. She told me she was almost done and would be coming straight home. I tried like hell to scoot into my bedroom to get my cell phone and call 911, but the pain was SO intense, I couldn't move from my waist down, I just laid there, crying and waiting for my sister to get home to help me. She walked in the front door and found that I had already began to go into shock. She called 911, put a pillow under my head and covered me with a blanket because I was shivering. I heard the sirens of the Paramedics and Fire Dept. coming down Benedict Cyn. but seemed like I was waiting forever when actually, they arrived within 10 minutes. Paramedics put an IV and gave me 4 mgs. of Morphine STAT and for starters. They loaded me into the ambulance for the ride to UCLA, I was still screaming in pain so,I was given yet another dose of Morphine. When we reached UCLA ER, the Docs asked me if I wanted to attempt to "shimmy" out of my jeans, which happened to be my fav pair, wouldn't ya know. :-( I yelled HELL NO, just cut them off of me and take the x-ray! Sure enough, I had fractured my femur and it was a bad fracture. The ambulance then transported me to Santa Monica-UCLA Orthopedic Hospital and I was scheduled for hip replacement surgery late that night or, first thing the next morning. After waiting 3 days, I finally had surgery. To make this LONG story (Sorry!) short, my left hip never healed properly and I've had trouble with it ever since. After moving to Palm Springs in 2013, I went to see an Orthopedic Doc from Eisenhower who ordered an MRI of my left hip. Turns out, the Doc at UCLA who did my hip replacement surgery, put in the WRONG SIZE replacement for my body frame, it's too big and needs be replaced with the right size. In March, 2020, I plan on having my Orthopedic Doc from Eisenhower correct the "botched" surgery. Love the Eisenhower Docs and that Hospital! Recovery can be a drag, so please don't push yourself (watch her Alan!) and if you're in pain, take your pain med at the onset of your pain, don't wait or, the med will take longer to take effect. I hope I look as great as you do while I'm recovering after my hip surgery! :-) Wishing you and Alan a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year! Dear Suzanne, I remember a time when you tried to get our government to help cover the cost of supplements for people, like me and others who DON'T USE DOCTOR DRUGS... We're good for the shape we're in, Suzanne. I decided to step on drywall flooring in the attic and broke right through! I was hanging on for dear life by a small wood cross beam, trying to pull my leg back up into the attic so I could get down by the stairs rather than crashing to the floor! I, too, had a stress fracture. the doctor gave me the option of either putting a pin in or leaving it and staying in bed for 6 weeks to heal it. I opted to stay in bed for 6 weeks.

Yikes! That sounds unbelievably painful. Good thing you kept your weight under control. I'm down 78 pounds myself. The cancer weight loss method. I don't recommend it. Cancer is so scary that I'm finally able to control my diet. I weigh 167 now. Love it! I feel amazing!

You take your pain medication when you have pain. Anytime from 3 to 4 hours. No sooner than 3 hours. I took hormone replacement therapy for 10 years and my bone density is wonderful. I’ve never fractured a hip or leg. She also looks better without makeup. And without veneers.

Suzanne’s products sound great, but oh my the prices. They are so expensive. Normal people cannot afford them. I can afford to play around with my money now that my kids are grown up and on their own, but again I don’t want to go broke just on products.

Take your pain medication but don't get addicted. You'll get better you will just have to take it easy I seen people that had what you have that guy Morris from the band time he back dancing. He had both his hip done. I think Tom Jones is having his hip done.
