Why do you take progesterone cyclically? Once past menopause it is generally given daily. Its given cyclically to women who are still menstruating so that they can have a normal bleeding cycle.

I've been taking testosterone for 18 years. The information on here is kind of off. The fact is, each of us is unique. Estrogen is actually made up of 3 hormones. Estrone, estradiol, and estriol. Getting estrogen balance is a bit tricky. Testosterone is easy. You just have to get the dosage right. Know this. People have very different androgen receptors. Androgen receptors are what absorb testosterone. Some people's absorb very easily so low dosages does a LOT for them while others need higher doses for effect. All women should start with a very low dose. Testosterone is pretty harmless. Any negative effects like thick hairs growing on your chin are mitigated quickly by lower your dose. Testosterones DOES help many women. Post menopausal women take it most as doctors always are leery of prescribing drugs to women of child bearing age.
