@@fionnagrant6636 That would be great but the thing is once you start with acrylic, you can't remove it, otherwise cut your nail if you want to come back to "bare natural" nails. It's not Cristine's thing. But maybe only a manucure without the acrylic ?

I’m so glad Suzie addressed the situation where some nail techs do nails where the client walks out of the shop with nailed that look like it’s grown out for weeks already. That has happened to me so often. It’s what made me no longer want to go to nail salons anymore. Ugh it felt so good to hear Suzie talk about that >_

It really helps to keep a little bottle of jojoba oil next to your bed so that you can put a few drops on your cuticles right before you go to sleep. You can also put a few more drops on when you wake up to keep them nice during your morning routine with the face washing, showering, hair drying, makeup application and then MORE hand washing. Put another couple of drops on after all of the morning stuff is accomplished, and your cuticles will look awesome all day, and be perfection in two weeks, or so. Just always be careful to clip any hangnails that might crop up, DON'T PULL at them! When you pull them, not only can it go painfully deep or cause an infection, but it causes both sides of the peeled off skin to try to peel away from the missing piece and it will travel all the way across the cuticle over time.

Alternatively you make those customers so relaxed and safe that they can fall asleep. That’s a great trust to have. I personally love listening to you! I just discovered your channel and I love how informative you are but also the videos are very relaxing as well.

i just binged all of grant's videos all day. plus a ton of other suzie's videos. I just started watching and couldn't stop. These videos makes me want acrylic nails especially since I see she does them in short as well. So I know they can be done! I have had so many nail techs tell me that they have to be super long.

By the way, I just want to say thank you, for everything, you don't know it yet but you are going to be my mentor when I go to nail school to become a nail tech. I will watch every single one of your videos. I have been into nail polish since I was 12 years old, ( I am ambidextrous now and can paint both of my hands almost identically) I'm also pushing 40. Cristine is my inspiration behind so many nail art designs, and I am going to follow every one of your videos for technique. You are such a professional! There's so many things I love about both of you but, nobody signed up to read that novel right now.
