@@greatlakesflyoutdoors1267 бывает по по-всякому. В основном - щука. По весу от 1 кг до 20 кг. Чаще всего от 1кг до 7 кг. Большие щуки - редкость, так же как таймень, ленок , хариус. За ними надо подниматься по таежным рекам. Так как у меня , SUZUKI DF 6 AS, я хожу в пределах от 5 до 25 км. За сезон ( июнь- октябрь) на рыбалке бываю - 10- 13 раз. Считаю, рыбалка- самое лучшее время жизни.

Hey, I do, the problem with this motor is it's a tad underpowered and due to a 2 ft chop, I kept getting thrown off plain. When the waters calm I can get up to 10-12 and 15 with a vented lid.

@@greatlakesflyoutdoors1267 yeah big swells in ocean even with a bit bigger motor like 8 or 9.9+ will likely make you jump on swells can be bit crazy. Rather just get slown down and go over it.. plus 6hp will be much easy to mange to carry around.. ill be using it on a 11 foot kaboat performance light gear set up so I'm thinking I should be fine with a 6hp

Tohatsu and Mercury 6hp are basically the same. Some differences I noticed are 1) suzuki df6a puts an extra anode on cylinder block to prevent corrosion. 2) suzuki df6a has an oil filter, tohatsu doesn't. 3) you can use tohatsu with a flushing adapter and garden hose , and run the engine. Suzuki has to be dipped into a bucket full of water to run. According to the owners manual , you can flush the suzuki from salt water with a special adapter and tools, but you can't run the engine. I would prefer the tohatsu adapter which is much more easy. 4)suzuki carburetor has an issue with the float inside, it gets stuck unless you use it frequently, or if you dont empty the carburettor bowl. It is a real pain... 5) suzuki is 2kg lighter than tohatsu. 6) suzuki claims you can lean the engine on 3 sides (but that is not true) , you can lean tohatsu (and suzuki) on the tiller side only. Suzuki put the Plastic gear shift on the other side, and you can break it easily if you don't support it with a cushion, so you'd better lean it on the tiller as well

@@armandyoutube1987 there is a huge difference. The diameter and pitch will be written on the propeller blade. The last number is the important bit pitch smallest is a 6 then 6.5 lastly 7 . I would estimate two knot difference between sizes. But only if the boat was stupidly light.Otherwise more weight in the boat a smaller pitch would be quicker 😉

@@armandyoutube1987 £6 tiny tack from eBay 5 minute install would tell you if at fall speed you was getting anywhere near the 5750rpm limit . I would imagine at the moment you are around 4000 ☹️👍

So I popped the lid off and decided to drive and the boat went 5mph faster. I thought it was crazy. I'm thinking the engine doens't pull in enough air with the lid on?

Hello ctdyargas, its a 12.5 Saturn boat.

It's called i-Boating:Navigation. Its 20$ a year and completely worth it. It does speed in Km and MPH, traces your route, waypoints, depth/topography, and its not just for big water, it has topography for small lakes. Let me know if you have any other questions. I've been using this app for three years now.
