I passed my test in January last year my first bike was a thundercat 600 and then 6 month later I got a bandit 1200 and I love it what a fantastic bike been rideing it for a year ish now and it's sooooo much fun

Just took my '97 out for my first spin on it. What a nice ride. My overwhelming impression of the Bandit 1200 is one of smoothness and effortlessness. In other news, it got up to 58 degrees today. That'll seem chilly later on, but for mid-March, I'll take it! Have a great riding season.

Love your videos, I've a 12 as well , was expecting better from the gopro, not the clarity I was hoping for but regardless love ur bike .

Hi Gareth, Thanks for your comment. I have tried a lot of different settings on the Gopro, I can't seem find one that gives nice footage when travelling at any speed. For an action cam it's not great in any sort of action, especially if the surroundings are busy with detail like trees and hedges. I find walking in the woods filming is to much for the processor. Maybe the newer ones are better, but I wouldn't recommend the 7 Black as an action cam. Ride safe on your 12. 👍😎

lovely bike jon had 2 of these a k2 2002 and a k6 2006 lovely bikes still have the k6 just itching to get out on mine as soon as lock down ends

Great bike, great video! I can‘t believe how smooth this engine is running, makes me think I need to check my carbs… any advice in how to improve smoothness (is that a word?)? Also great seat and sound, do you mind telling me about your set up? Sorry for the list of questions, but I just got my 03 Bandit 2 weeks ago and already head over heels in love with this beauty ;-)

Sorry for late reply. Hope you are enjoying your new bike. All I can really tell you about lack of smoothness, is make sure she is drinking fresh fuel. Try putting some carb cleaner like Redex in your tank , and take her out for a blast. Before thinking about stripping down the carbs. I don`t really have a " set up" as such. The engine is standard apart from the crankcase breather, and the straight through Yoshi can I got from a mate. Oh, and she is jacked up 20mm at the back. Hope this helps. Ride safe buddy.👍

Hi Uuel. All my bikes are in winter storage mode at the minute. I don`t have a bike project this winter, and I am working at other things. I usually get the bikes ready for the road in March. I plan to post more Bandit videos first sign of spring. Happy new year , ride safe.
