Suzuki Burgman AN 650 CVT Adapter Bolt Issues

I'm in Maryland and Offer free advice on issues Burgman AN650 related.
CORRECTION : My words say " Replacement Pulley" when speaking about the CVT Stop Bolt.
I meant to say " Replacement Bolt".
I don't charge for my help by phone.
My inventory of parts are for 2002-2012 Burgman 650s. I have most every part in my expensive storage units. I DON'T have a Salvage Yard with bikes outside in the weather.
I may have one or two Complete Road Tested Burgmans available with Clean Titles.
I have minimal experience on Burgman AN 400s but do have some. I DON'T have any 400 parts or Bikes available.
Most issues can be diagnosed by phone through a series of items we can eliminate together but NOT via messenger services. I DON'T live on my phone so If you insist on being afraid to use the phone the way it was intended, then you will wait and you will wait and you will wait for my response.
I am able to pickup and return a Burgman needing serious work this side of the Mississippi. I can also ship parts using UPS or Greyhound Shipping Services.
I don't make these Videos to make money. I'm 75 years old and don't need money the way you think.
If you ask for my help with the intentions of getting FREE PARTS while you have money in your pocket then Shame on You.

Scooterman is such a kind hearted man. Without this guy I wouldn't have been able to solve this issue myself. Only guy I know that knows these bikes like the back of his hand. Thanks again Scooterman btw partzilla finally sent the right part :p just putting it in now wish me luck.

Thank you for posting this. Yes that is the "Primary Input Adapter" bolt you are showing on the bottom. Like you said, there is NO reason to remove this bolt, none!!! The only Burgman 650's that you may need to 'check' this long bolt on is the 2006 year as many have came loose and the splines strip out. When in doubt, go over to BurgmanUSA and in the 650 section is a thread just for the 2006 AN650 Primary Adapter Bolt issues. The one bolt that we recommend you do check, like you said, is the "Primary Pulley STOPPER" bolt on the RIGHT side under the CVT, 15mm socket. If you decide to check the STOPPER bolt, LOCK the parking brake and DO NOT start the bike with it removed or it may get the pulley adjuster off it mark and the CVT will eat itself when it spins.

Yes. Suzuki calls it the Right Lower Leg Shield. Then use a Phillips to take off the black plastic part covering the Filter. Two small bolts hold the Filter in place. Don't forget to service your Clutch Oil and Swingarm Lube. ONLY use a Quality 10W40 in the clutch. No additives or Special Clutch Oil from Vendors. Call me direct if you need any more help. Do you have to take the right side lower panel out to change the CVT filter? Thanks for mentioning it in your previous video. I never knew there was a filter.

A dirty CVT filter may be the major cause of Burgman CVT failures. If a full stream of cool air can not get in, the CVT may over heat the belt causing it to fail sooner. And yes the right lower leg shield must be removed and then there are 4 screws folding the filter's cover on. It is a bear to get it out. But just do it. If you have a dealer replace the CVT input filter, make sure they show you the old one or you can not be sure they did change it. It is a PTIA to replace and some have left it out.
