I am getting too many inquiries about CVT failures.
There's two items VERY important to the Good Health of your CVT:
First: The CVT Filter is inexpensive (Price of a McDonald's Burger) and currently available from Suzuki and other vendors. They only cost around $20 and I would suggest replacement every 10K miles or less. If you're too cheap to buy a new one and try to wash it clean, you should sell your bike and ride the Bus. ok
Second: Beware of low mileage Burgmans. If they sit unridden for extended periods of time they become a new home for Mice who get into the CVT. The air exhaust on the Top Rear of your CVT is quite accommodating to little rodents wanting a new warm place to make little babies. They built their nests with things harmful to your Belt and Pulleys. Too many PPL are bashing Suzuki and the 650 because they didn't take care of their machine.
Final: The Engine/CVT shown here is Complete and For Sale. It has a Documented 6,603 miles and was Road Tested Thoroughly before being removed from it's frame. Title was bad but in my possession. Stored inside my dry Shop near BWI AIRPORT in Maryland. Comes with Starter, Throdle Boddies, Swingarm and three sensors. This Swingarm WILL NOT work on an Executive because it doesn't have the mounts for the ABS sensors.
Contact me direct by Text or Call if interested or if you need any Parts or Service. I can ship parts using UPS or Greyhound Shipping. I can also personally Deliver this Engine/CVT up to 1,000 miles for a modest fee. 443-370-6212 Ask for Dale.
