NOTE - If you have an early First Generation Burgman 650 (2002-04) which does NOT have Overdrive then you DO NOT need to follow this procedure. Those years have a different CVT Adapter design which is farther inside the engine and you DO NOT need to remove it to take the CVT off the engine. Usually, a First Generation Burgman 650 will have Yellow tail lights and turn signals. The change was made somewhere between 2004 and 2005 but it may be possible to have a 2004 with Overdrive or a 2005 without Overdrive. It depends on when the bike was Titled not built. You will know when you remove the side dust cover.
