In this video, I take my Suzuki Gixxer 150 for a ride along a coastal road heading out of Gordon's Bay, Cape Town, South Africa.

A comfortable riding position and large-diameter front forks combine with dual disc brakes for a stable and controlled on-road performance.
The Suzuki Gixxer is powered by 155cc BS6 engine which develops power of 13.41 bhp and torque of 13.8 Nm. With both it's front and rear disc brakes, it has anti-locking braking system. The Gixxer weighs 141 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.
The Gixxer is a 155cc premium commuter in Suzuki’s portfolio which had received a major update in 2019 after its predecessor remaining majorly unchanged for five years since its inception. The current-gen model gets Suzuki’s new-age design with a few added features over the previous iteration.
The styling of the new Suzuki Gixxer 150 is profoundly sporty with sharp lines and contours across its body panels. The oblong-shaped headlamp unit houses LED lamp and is surrounded by a brushed silver bezel. The compact tail lamp is also an LED unit while the turn indicators comprise of conventional bulbs. One of the design highlights of the motorcycle is a dual-exhaust canister with chrome-finished tip. Meanwhile, instrumentation on the Gixxer comprises of a white backlit fully digital console.
In this video, I am riding along Clarence Drive, which is a mountain pass crossed by the R44 road between Gordon's Bay and Rooi-Els. The tourist route is 22 km long and provides a panoramic view of False Bay, the coastline, Table Mountain, and parts of the Cape Peninsula. The road begins near Gordon's Bay, winds south over the mouth of the Steenbras River and proceeds past Kogel Bay, Sparks' Bay, and Rooi-Els to near Pringle Bay.
