why didn't you show how the dampener is attached? is there a quick release for it? Do you take out the screw half covered by the arm? Do you pop the arm off?

It's been a long while since I did this video, but I believe it was difficult to get the area lit enough to see and still fit a camera in. I can't speak to how it is removed since the vehicle was totalled years ago, and I haven't done this particular job in ages due to that. Thanks for watching!

3:14 How about it, what function does that small black plastic cylinder that is on the right that you push when you fit the glove compartment.

I believe that's the damper for the glovebox if I recall correctly. Thanks for watching!

Other than opening it and removing that way, I don't know of one. Thanks for watching!

Защитные очки очень необходимы для замены фильтра?
@redonKiLaus9 жыл бұрын
When doing any type of work on a vehicle, proper procedure is to wear all safety equipment. Many people do not do so, and that is how injuries occur.

and you used a Fram filter? oh dear....I will never use any product made by that company ever. Not if i value the longevity of my vehicle.
@redonKiLaus5 жыл бұрын
I generally don't use their products either...I refer to them as the "orange kiss of death" in the oil filter world. Their cabin filters aren't bad as aftermarket replacements though, and for this particular vehicle, OEM ones were hard to get a hold of at the time (and still are). Thanks for watching!
