Which makes it more perplexing why you'd put another pipe on it. Just "enjoy" the engine sound.

You put a Yosh on a GS500? I put 20000 miles on a GS500. Other than the carburetor, the only thing I didn't like was the wimpy exhaust. I drive a faster bike now with FI and a Yosh exhaust but still remember fondly the GS500

Hello, a friend of mine just gave me his 1997 suzuki GS 500E, I've been wanting to get a new exhaust for it but due to poor maintenance and him letting it sit for 2 years really messed everything up. I got it to start after cleaning the carbs but it had a lot of sludge on the bottom of the tank. Soon after cleaning the tank one of the piston rigs busted and it started burning oil which caused smoke to come out the exhaust pipe. I rebuilt the engine and carbs but am now having a carb issue where the floats keep getting stuck. What I've been thinking about is a fuel injection conversion. Would that be possible for the GS models? I've never done a fuel injection conversion before

Just keep the carbs lol. Tear em down and soak em in cleaner

You can't just do a EFI conversion lol

Ive seen someone fo a fuel injection conversion to gs500 and I think they got it working but there is not much information about it.. You would have to wing it

Hello and good day to you. I just bought a 2005 Suzuki gs500f and wanted to take off the plastic light fixture and put the same headlight that you have in this video. If you have time, can you give me any info on how you did that to your bike. Thanks.🌞😊

He has the stock gs500 model not the gs500f. The F model has the full fairings. So that is the way his bike came stock. I am sure you can get that headlight if you want and put it on, I just don't think he did that himself but idk. I just brought a 2004 gs500f not to long ago as my first bike, it is a great and fun bike. Anyway I hope that info can maybe help you, have a good day.
