There tends to be a lot of resentment from people I have noticed towards bikes. They constantly underestimate how fast modern bikes are.

Cars are also easier to drive fast. I'm a driver that got into bikes and cars are so advanced now it's almost cheating. The traction and stability control in my car is like black magic, I have none of that on my gixxer.

@@stonedmole2351 tires aren’t a straightforward friction equation though. With thermal management, mu above 1.0 (so think adhesive not friction) and load sensitivity, all else being equal, a wider tire typically has more grip.

It's true when we take extreme exemples sush as prototypes in F1//Formula2/LMP1... Nothing on 2 wheels can beat them on track.

No, supercars can't touch 1000cc motorcycles. They are not even close. Any decent club rider could beat lewis hamilton in that McLaren.

@@canismajoris6733 I think you'd be quite surprised. The Cup 2R should have been used for a start as a comparitive tyre. Bike accelerate faster than cars. Car decelerate faster than bike. Cars change direction faster than bikes. Apex speeds are similar. Maybe a couple of seconds in it, nothing more

Yes the car’s tire sensors connect to the Michelin App your phone to give live pressures and temperatures. The App also uses the phone’s gps to record lap times and some other data. Very nice stuff 👍🏻😎

For the car “Pilot Sport Cup2 Connect” tires, the sensors are inside the tires. For the bike “Fit2Go” system, the sensors are the actual valve plugs, so this system is very fast to fit and can actually be used with any tires

@@FREDDOX666 Allons Allons, nous savons tous qu'à partir du moment où les voitures sont optimisées aérodynamiquement (ailerons et effet de sol), aucune moto ne peut suivre le rythme. Contre une Formule 1, une moto GP se fait déposer au 2ème virage. En restant sur des voitures de série, plusieurs Porsche battent le record de moto sur la Nordschleife. D'ailleurs il est vraiment étonnant qu'aucun pilote moto ne veuille s'attaquer à ce record qui date de 2012 (7min 10 Yamaha YZF-R1 Andy Carlile).

De plus, Porsche se pointe au Nordschleife avec un esquadron d’ingénieurs plusieurs fois par an pour faire les records. Aucun fabriquant de moto ne fait de meme. il faut comparer sur un circuit ou la voiture ET la moto peuvent etre poussés à 100% sans risque de mort. Mais personne peut nier la rapport prix/performance d’une moto. Au niveau acceleration: une petite 600 fume une Porsche GT3 RS qui coute 10x le prix…

I dont think stock superbikes are faster than stock supercars around a track. A superbike only has acceleration in its favour. Whereas a supercar has way more grip, aero, braking power and corner speed compared to a superbike. If the 570s had been driven by a f1 driver, it would have been a different story. Sylvian is ex motogp god, and he races a gsxr for a job. No wonder he went faster on the bike than the car.

Sounds like we need a rematch with a pro driver in the car 😜 But honestly I can’t see where anybody can make that much of a difference. A sports car on street rubber is just too heavy and aero is limited. Cars get fast loosing weight, adding slick tires and lots of downforce. Bikes are just fast 😉
