Two stroke bikes need a big comeback! Im a RZ350 guy. Not only is that GT is great condition, it says why bikes need to become 2 stroke again. Love it!!!!

My first bike was a Suzuki GT550 and the GT750 water bottle was my 2nd. I loved the sound of it then and still do. Yours is a beautiful example. Thanks for posting.

Sweet 2 stroke sound. Those " Water Buffalos " as we called them back in the 70s had the best sound of any bike on the road .

I had the 1980 GT 250 X7, had it fully rebuilt, might have been one of the first 250's that was good for over 100 Mph, but this...this is gorgeous...anyone who says that Japanese bikes don't have style or character don't know shit about these things...this just ooozes character...

Damn fine shape .I'm so jealous. I had a 77 KH 400 ,80 RD 400 and an 82 RD 350 I was a 2 stroke fanatic ! I preferred the Yamaha's but that triple soundtrack is killer especially with the chambers. Thanx for the memories.

38 years ago I purchase my first motorcycle up in college. had to wait till I was away from view of the parents. they never new I own one because the home rules do not allow bikes. anyway i purchase Suzuki GT 380. air cooled three cylinder two stroke. you bike is jaw dropping nice. thanks for posting up a video. wish i still had the 380

It looks and sounds great, i had a picture of one on my bedroom wall when i was a teen, always wanted a kettle, although i did have (when 19) an RD 350 wheelie Fun machine, i used to tease the police with and always got away on the back wheel :) Long live 2 strokers :)

Beautiful bike with an amazing sound. Doing some refurbashing on my 77' 125. Got the bike for my confirmation a couple years ago and i love that sound and feel.

My mate installs garage doors for a living and comes across a mothballed gt750 most years. You'd be amazed how many still exist.

Why didn't you drive this thing? I used to be the head mechanic in the biggest Suzuki shop in New Jersey. I had a 380, 550 and 750 at one time or another. All were 3 cylinder 2 strokes. They were the smoothest running bikes I ever had. They were like electric motors and without that crazy Kawasaki 2stroke power band that had nothing below 5k rpm and then everything all at once. The Suzukis had pretty straight-line power. They were the best bikes I ever rode.

Cant ever forget the sound of a Suzuki CB 750. Instilled in me brain forever!

Had one of those. Same year and 95% stock. Couldn’t get the front tire in the air when hitting 6000rpm no mater what. These stock were not very fast but very reliable. Brakes would hydroplane pretty easy and they would surge on the highway @ 60 mph. At 70-75 it smoothed right out. Problem is this when the national speed limit was 55 and cops were much more likely to write you a ticket. Wish I had it now with people running 75-85 the water buffalo would be right home.

I absolutely love two strokes

first Street bike I ever owned, 78' water buffalo. had the intake and exhaust ports milled, 3 monster carbs and 3 in to 1 header. sounded like a big popcorn machine coming down the road. Around 120 hp, that bike was a beast. Never not even once did it break down and leave me stranded. 800 lb bike had no problem standing up and doing rolling burn outs. One fast and Nast bike, I'd love to find another one to restore. had a ferring on it when I bought it, blue and shiny just like the one in video and sounded almost the same. Nowadays I'm not much for sport bikes but I'd love to have another water buffalo

I had one of these back 'in the day' and it was my pride and joy until someone stole it. It was a stock 1976 model grey in colour. It was very quiet and turbine smooth but come on guys, bringing two strokes back from the dead? I remember how they used to pollute the atmosphere with their blue smoke. The GT750 wasn't a particularly good handling bike either. I remember the digital gear indicator and that was very useful. Nice memories but technology moves along very fast and a GT750 should be left in the days of the '70s. Modern motorcycles are far superior to anything built in those distant days. Best looking "kettle" I've seen yet! Not only that but if I had he's already done 2 mods I'd do - ! 1) Junk the overweight stock exhaust system 2) Run it with better brake calipers BEHIND the fork legs to reduce steering inertia :)

Wow that is very nice. I had one in High School. Crazy...trying to turn it in a canyon. It was at home at the Drag Strip. I put a Magura 1/4 mile throttle on it and a slick. Beat most stock bikes. What a ride. Loved the digital gear changer.

Looks like all show and no go. Better to have restored it back to original condition and enjoyed that smooth, powerful triple as it was intended to be.

nice but the ignition of the left cylinder has a fault - it could be carburation problem ( probably due to jetting issue or needle valve).

I had a red 1975 but my rear shocks were not made by "red bull".

I had a go on a race tuned GT750 back in the 80s. Insane.

I had one in the 70's was customized with a black 550 tank on it.

The water cooling meant tighter piston tolerances and less oil consumption. Mine barely smoked at all.

subscribed just off the back of this, as you can probably see im an off road man but slowly starting to consider broadening my horizons, id consider myself lucky to ever own something half as nice as this

Front swap. That's forks. Wheel. Rotor. Caliper. And tripple tree. Rear swap. Swing arm. Wheel. Now rotor with caliper. He had to fit a hydrolic rear brake. But kept the original double shock design of the gt750. Aftermarket exhaust with built in silencers. Probably need handlebars.

Big thums up for not revving the cold engine at high rpms! I hate vids where owners kills their engines for a shitty yt video by revving the cold engines right to the red line. So nice vid, congrats. 2 stroke is the king. ( i’ll believe in 4 stroke when they make a light powerful chainsaw with a 4t engine :) )

Very underrated bikes - with a bit of work Waterbottles could be made into very quick bikes.

Looks great, though the red bull cans spoil the look of this bike, in my opinion.

I wish Suzuki would do a modern. Version of this bike ,the bike I am seeing here is well done bike
