It’s surprising that people say the water wading capacity of jimny is less..it is good to see jimny taking on 800 mm of water and going without getting stuck..this vehicle is really good..

There is a limited edition of Jimny launched in interntional markets (like 100 units ) called "Jimny Sierra 4Sport" which has snorkel , offroad tyres and and Suzuki claims a water wading capacity of 600mm for it .

Note the point 810mm @ some places... I have seen a video of jimny without load in side, it was floating and running with the water flow...

There were 3 people inside the Jimny and 2 of them are heavy built. The water flow was not too strong to float. But i could feel the force of water pushing the vehicle side to side and the gravels and stones/boulders under the water made it even challenging.

Hi, I sent an email to Maruti support team on this and my testing outcome and here is their response : "Your personal experience of taking the Jimny into 810mm of water might have yielded a successful outcome, but it's important to remember that exceeding the specified wading capacity can potentially pose risks to the vehicle's components and its overall functionality. Manufacturers often set conservative figures to ensure that the vehicles can safely handle a wide range of scenarios and environmental conditions without encountering issues."

The water wading capacity in some websites is 310 mm for Jimny.. I thought seeing is beleiving and thats why took a video shot of Jimny in water with the front engine cover almost submerged under water..IF that is 300 mm... I cannot comment anything. We took a measuring tape and measured the depth of the place where it was 810mm and after some inspection, the jimny went in and came out.
