In this episode we look at the mid-size muscle cruiser that is the Suzuki M50. This 2011 800cc V-Twin bats well above it's average in the riding and looks department. We'll take a look at the features that make this low cost performance cruiser a bargain in the bang for buck bike world. So, put in your ear plugs, hit play and enjoy!

@@CompleteRider I'd be one sticky man lol they sound so good I immediately started to search for those pipes as I'm certain an M50 is gonna be my next bike and wanted to see the damage, well I found they are actually discontinued and all I could see were 2nd sets for like $500 😅 Small price to pay to receive my greatest orgasm daily I guess 😂 You too bro!

The M50 (2015) is my first and only bike (soon to be traded in for the M109R 2023). The only issue I have is I wish it had a 6th gear. Doing 70-80mph, to this day I still look for another gear after 6 years with it. It requires very little maintenance and has had zero issues outside of the FI light (Fuel Injection) coming on 2-3 times after a long ride coming off of the highway and downshifting. After shutting down the bike for a sec, the FI light goes out which is fine, even after taking it to the dealer and confirming no issues.

I'd probably agree on the gearing but most manufacturers today would expect you to sit on 90 mph on an 800cc bike for long. Shit in Australia you get locked up for that kind of 'hoon' riding! 🤣 Ride safe and Subscribe 👍

I have the m109r, you won’t be sorry buying one. I don’t use 5th gear until I am doing 120 kph, it doesn’t need a 6th gear.

Awesome video I just picked up a 2009 m50 SE with 5k original miles and black Vance and Hines pipes. Bike is beautiful I love it and it sounds great with the pipes. Cheers.

So I've just watched this, and, think you've given the bike a great review, I'm not sure and would be open to correction, but I have had a European model of this bike for a year now, over here in the UK its known as the Intruder M800, but has exact spec as your M50. I luv the bike, 200 miles in one hit, no numb bum and all body parts in tact, great bike I would certainly recommend.

Yes, that is correct. It's the M50 in the US and Australia. I have no idea why we went with M50 (M for muscle, 50 for cubic inches) as Australia uses metric for everything including kms) but the marketing team obviously liked it better. Good review great bike, I own the 2019 M50, sadly I have not been able to locate a back rest bracket for my model yr. and I am still looking for a nice exhaust to install ( she sounds good at idle... but add some throttle and she sounds sick LOL) again great ride ....thanx for sharing the video

Thanks for the positiveness Brendan, it's a lot of work to make these videos, so it's nice to get good vibes back! The back rest on this one was a Suzuki unit but it was a bit disappointing how badly and quickly the chrome pitted as can be seen on the video. Vance & Hines so good but very, very loud, your neighbours will hate you. 🤣 p.s. thanks for the Sub! ✌

great review i own one 2010 model a few mods delkavich exhausts also mapped dyno kit flashed better performing shaft 180 back tyre also panniers sissy bar and boot bag she goes like stink

Ah I miss my M50. It sailed off to Poland. I may get another one. The seat isn't great, but everything else is brilliant. I fitted straight bars, and forward pegs. Got rid of the pillion seat too. It should of been a keeper. You live and learn....

Yep, more than enough power for everyday use, you just have to twist it a bit more than a 1000cc but it still goes hard.😋

What's the top speed? I'm planning on taking her on the highway and the speed limit is 80mph where I live.

@@cameronmchugh4153 I didn't try😂 but it will do 100mph max I would say, so it would sit on 80mph all day long without any trouble. Probably not made for corners at that speed though!
