One thing I can add is don't buy granola please.....it's just too expensive,buy oats add some cooking oil and honey (not even necessary) then bake them in the oven or roast on a pan until brown just like njugu keep turning them .. granolas cost lots of money haki ..just made my 500grms to last me a whole month ..mmwelcome.

I cook almost everything (potatoes, sweet potatoes, arrowroot, grains like maize, beans, njahi etc) using gas. To save on gas, I bought a pressure cooker which cooks almost everything mentioned above in 5 minutes. For grains, I soak for 48 hours then pressure cook for 4-5 minutes. Simpler grains like lentils, ndengu, and chickpeas cook for 3-5 minutes if I soak for about 2-5 hours. I even pressure cook brown rice in 6 minutes instead of 25-30 minutes in a sufuria. Halved potatoes, arrowroot, and sweet potatoes take 2-4 minutes in a pressure cooker, while boiled eggs take 3-5 minutes. NOTE: My pressure cooker manufacturer allows for faster manual depressurization by slightly lifting the whistle or pressure gauge. Some pressure cookers require running cold water on top.

Hi Suzy. You are so fortunate to have all these markets and special stores. Im from South Africa. Here you have to shop around for specials. Even water. We have a water filter but with the quality of water here I don't even risk giving tap water to my pets. I have 8dogs and 3 cats. Our whole town was without water for 6 days now. You are doing a great job of caring for your hair yourself. You do look nice❤

Way to go Suzi and for soda fresh juice is the way to go or herbal teas( fresh rosemary, lemongrass, hibiscus etc ginger, lemon, etc etc work for sweetener honey or jaggery😊)

Well, I used to be like that... Until I started decluttering and I got hooked 😂😂 lately I'm looking at my over-full bookshelf and starting to come up with ideas of getting rid of most of them. I just might! Enjoy your Kindle tho.. it's the best! 👍🏾
