The crew of SV Delos & 59 North sail to the northernmost settlement in the world, Svalbard. This Arctic archipelago reaches 80 degrees North; only 600 miles shy of the North Pole. In our quest to explore this place by sailboat, we encounter mighty glaciers calving, beluga whales, polar bears feeding, walrus colonies and so much more!

This boat was originally my late father's boat, called Warbaby. My father, Warren Brown, sailed to the artic, too. my father was one of the most well-known and respected sailors in the world. He loved racing and exploring the world. We, as a family, were so lucky to have had the gift of travelling.

Thanks Marcel. The belugas made the most beautiful sounds when we dropped that hydrophone in the water. It sounds like a jungle filled with tropical birds. I hope you get a chance to record them one day :)

Awesome video man. Love the shot at 2:48. What kind of camera and lenses do you use? I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000 for the 4K video capability, but possibly looking for an upgrade.

Thanks mate! I shoot on a GH5 with adapted Canon glass. Nothing fancy to be honest. Looking to switch the Sony a7siii this year!
