The secret to making a good bike is to listening to users input. Making seat height under 800mm is key as many short riders wouldn't be comfortable with taller bikes. Adjusting swapable seats for height are bad, as you need to let go ass comfort for height. Having GC of around of 170 or above is a must. Looks are everything. People see everything the quality parts, the finish, how its put together nicely. Lately many manufacturers just pump out vehicles like sty's without doing proper research like they used to before. If one wants to ve unique and stand out and also wants to make good sales they have nothing but listen to the end consumer needs and deliver the best even if its a Single model in their product catalogue. Thats how you win.

Comes later! The 701 Svartpilen came 1 jear later than the vitpilen but the vitpilen 801 is ready, I think it comes maybe weeks or months later

I would pay good money for having that livery on the bike. Like, I'm getting it anyway latest next year when my Vit 701 may find another happy owner. But damn that livery on the 801 is gorrrrrgeous.

@@veganism_is_superior ich weiß, bin Deutscher 🤣 Ja sind was für Bastler, da einfach zu oft was passiert! 790 Motor hat ja auch bekannte Schwächen ölverlust, bedeutet wenig Schmierung, also Motor geht früher oder später kaputt 😢

It's the next logical step, but it's going to be chonky compared to the 701, probably comparable to the 790 Duke or even towards the 790 Adventure in weight, so 410-440 lbs rather than the 370ish of the 701. Maybe it's kind of a scrambler version of the 790 Duke... which actually sounds pretty cool.

@@giovannisvette449 That's US. The rest of us don't have to pay "Dealer fees", just the PDI (in the UK - others may be nothin'), and that's that. So much for being the "Land of the Free etc." It seems to me that everything which is cheap elsewhere is certainly far from "Free" in the USA. I was just talking about this with my O.H: Isn't it funny how so many Americans proclaim how wonderful the country is, but all they can they can proclaim is "Freedom!" as if no other country in the world has freedom? BTW, expected price in €uroland is about €15K

Ist leider eine Duke 790 in eine schönere Hülle… 🙄 das Design hebt sich leider nicht von der Duke 790 ab… wirklich schade.. 😒 Bei der Vitpilen 701 waren sie noch mutig was das Design angeht… 💪🏾 aber die Mehrheit der Nutzer und die Verkaufszahlen haben sich mehr für die Ergonomie entschieden. Trotzdem ein schönes Bike, aber ich werde meine Vitipilen 701 🚀 treu bleiben. Die VIT 701 hat leider von Anfang an den „falschen Motor“ bekommen. 😅

Nope not feeling it, i reckon the 701 version is still the better bike, and holds its money now it’s a cult classic, this thing looks ugly and heavy completely the opposite to the design concept of the original and it still looks like a KTM 890 duke just wish Husky had the freedom to bring us spectacular bikes like the NUDA!!…Cmon guys Good design bad design all costs the same bring us something special

So instead of the fine european motor for the ktm 990 (945cc) and call it 901, you choose the older, chinese manufactured KTM 790 engine for your new top brand naked. . . not an smart move, but cheaper indeed.

Ohh only 790/801 I have the 701/690 Svartpilen style and would change for a 901, with 121 hp but not for the 801/790 … the 790 motors have a lot problems like the 690! My 701 is at the dealer/ mechanic for now 4 months 3000€ bill 🤮 had 20k kilometres and motor is blown away, I buy it brand new, 2 years later 💥 KTM poor quality for premium price! Yes I know the 790 motor is the same like 890 only a big bore but 121hp/99 torque
