I know that these aren't full on luggage carriers, but they'll definitely help take at least some of the weight out of my backpack while overnight camping until I see something that I fancy upgrading to.
Most of the stuff I packed in this demonstration could have fit into one bag. Never mind two. Thinking about it, I maybe should have packed my little camping stove and gas cylinder along with a mug and some food to give you a better idea of the space available. But still, you should get the gist.
Already the pouches have come in fairly useful. On a recent run out I was able to move things about and bring home some takeaway for dinner.
The velcro patches I ordered have arrived. I may just do a 'short' for those. They look great, but would have been better if they were reflective with normal light and not IR. And I've also made up some extra straps using velcro tape and some buckles I have had stored in a tupperware tub for years now.
