W cannot break this movie's spell. its pure magic. The movie Director late Rituparno Ghosh was a legend in movie making. The music director Debajyoti Mishra is a class. I dont think none other hindi movie had showcase such kind of storyline, directorship, music and off course performances. Aishwerya Roy was superbly directed in this movie, Rituparno Ghosh gave her a new image through such character, and she proved herself that she really has such caliber to perform such complicated character. The music by Debajyoti Mishra is something we don't find in other hindi movies. He is a legend. A fan from Pakistan

The movie was a masterpiece, but what is the unique element is the music and songs. Shobha Mudgal has not been used like this by any one. It is a pity that the hindi film industry has not explored the talent of Devjyoti Misra, the music director, he is definitely in league with AR Rehman if not better.

যখন ঋতুপর্ণ ঘোষ ছবি বানাতেন তখন খুব ছোট ছিলাম। এখন উনার কাজ গুলো দেখে নিজেকে সমৃদ্ধ করার চেষ্টা করি। উনি যখন ছিলেন উনার সঠিক মুল্যায়ন হয়তো হয়নি। কিন্তু মানুষের আয়ু শুধু তার বেঁচে থাকার সময় টুকুই নয়। মানুষ বেঁচে থাকে তার কাজ, তার সৃষ্টির মাধ্যমে। সেই ভাবে বেঁচে থাকুক ঋতুপর্ণ ঘোষ। আমরা ভালোবেসে যাই উনাকে।

BEAUTIFUL!!!! The first two hit the feels so hard! Watched this movie years ago and I remember it in bits but surely recollect it being a lovely study of people and relationships. Time for a re-watch I guess given the self isolation....

Someone very close to me recommended this movie to watch, and after watching it I cried like anything, but one thing that still bothers me is the personality of that person, that, how a person having a sense of feeling such deep emotions could be so cold in person!
