Don't start hating Hoshi because of what he said to DK. There are a lot of moments where many idols have revealed that it is a very tough competition behind every group lineup that gets to debut. Many times these trainees don't know if they will get to debut or not. Will their friend get to debut too? Will they be in the same group? It is tough. And 17 trainees were supposed to be in seventeen. So imagine how much pressure each one of them had. To complete study, train long hours, pass monthly evaluations, to make it into the final lineup. Hoshi might not even be sure if DK will be in the same group as him or even if Hoshi or Dk both will get to debut even. Pledis was small, near bankruptcy, and Nuest was not that big either, each year hundreds of groups debut but not all got the spotlight. That trainee Hoshi was thinking of survival. That trainee DK was entering the war zone. Don't start saying Hoshi is mean or strict. And Hoshi said it before even, he regrets it. And DK did make Seventeen successful as a powerful vocalist. All 13 members worked hard and survived the toughest fight of debuting and stealing spotlight. And all of them are close brothers. Seventeen is Seventeen for a reason.

i think hoshi felt sorry because dk have felt bad for what hoshi has told him years ago. my heart melted with the sincerity of saying they have succeeded because of dk all these years. this is just one example of the members' interaction and relationship with each other that has been forged by years of love, understanding and friendship. i am the proudest for what they have achieved 🤍

I think it's normal for the leader line to look scary and serious as a trainee, especially SCoups and Woozi, they were both the longest trainees among the others. SCoups has been in the debut line-up 2 times (before Seventeen), and Woozi has been in the debut line-up 1 time, together with SCoups. But their debut kept failing, so they had no other thoughts, they had to work hard to debut, so they wouldn't fail again. Entering the debut line up, they don't necessarily debut because their agency wants to go bankrupt. So, why is the leader line scary because they don't want to fail, if they play around, they might not debut, so they are really very serious during trainees, still they play around, but they are more serious than other trainees. They just want to debut, achieve their dreams, they already know what it's like to fail to debut, and they don't want that to happen again.

The one with hoshi and dk is too real. It was literally a 10-second emotional roller coaster ride. I was hurt but when hoshi spoke i almost-- anyway, i can only ever imagine how hard artists have to be on themselves and on each other to be proud of themselves, it's got to be an extremely exhausting system and process. And to be brave enough to go through all of that knowing that it is a continuous thing is one of the many reasons why I respect them, genuinely. ❤️
