Having a child in Canada may not give you residence but it helps. We saw a lot in the 90s.

In the US, you can use the child to get permit to stay if you're able to give good reason such as I would like to stay and work in the US and take very good care of my child. I think US have less difficult on getting documents to stay.

False. Every immigration case is different. People with kids are also reported from the US and EUROPE.

@@BrightAmoah-cg3ij You said when you have a child in the US , you can get a residence permit to stay in the US. This is NOT true. If both parents are illegal immigrants in the US, you can't get a permit to stay.

@@lilu1655 That does not necessarily give the mothers of permit to stay in every case. A lot of mothers are reported from the US even if they have babies born in the US.
