I listened to your interview. U have a bright future in America. Just keep your eyes on the prize. Keep away from bad company, follow the laws & regulations. Plan on improving your skills or further your education. I came here as a young man just like u in 1970. I enjoyed your story & journey. I attended university & graduated with an engineering degree in Houston, Texas. I have worked in different business fields as IT engineer & now retired since 2016. I own a small business after retirement but taking it easy. U will be ok to pursue the “American” dream. Good Luck.

If you want to travel, educate yourself, apply for the American Lottery, go on line and read to find out the procedure needed to apply. Also check the skills shortage in the country you want to travel to and study in those areas, do well and then apply.

I can relate with the store looting. I had a similar experience with these Akata high school boys in Brooklyn New York when I first came to the US. They came looting the store and I happened to ignorantly fought them. One punched me in the eye, leaving me with a fractured eye socket, and swollen eye. I was taken to the emergency by the ambulance. My brother i would advise you to start the school before your wife and parents come over. In the sense that, your expenditure will increase once they arrive, this would compel you to work extra hours increasing the likelihood of not going to school. Once you start having children, your wife might not be able to work the first couple of years, leaving you as the sole provider. Also, you need time for the kids and this could be too much on your plate. Some things are good when you are alone based on personal experience.

If you “get the chance” to move to America, know that the country is not intending to make you successful. The system is built to keep you poor, and it normally takes about 10 yrs to realize that broni y3 clever but wicked 😂. I’ve lived here for 15yrs, served in the military for 6yrs, has 120 acres of cashew, a football team, and many livestock in Ghana and I’m moving back home this year. If you come here, do these so that you’ll be successful FAST 1. Join their Airforce or Navy reserves, serve only 6yrs 2. Don’t try to fix your family back home immediately. Rather focus on your school and get at least Bsc in Nursing, and CDL within 4yrs. 3. Start buying properties back home with the intention of escaping the Matrix here. Better be rich back home and be coming here for holidays. 4. Don’t go and marry in Ghana to bring them here unless you were already dating before you came here. Big mistake many guys do!! Lots of beautiful women in Columbia and Brazil, don’t forget you can travel there visa free. Work on yourself and be more attractive! If you don’t like these, you’re probably a loser, and you’ll be going back home saying is hard here and bla bla bla. Alright after doing these, I was able to bring my dad and mom here to retire without working. All my siblings are part of my business and they don’t want to travel to work here
