I put that model on my non free floated Remington, I didn’t realize it would change my zero so much. Cost me a yote because I didn’t check zero. Be sure to sight your gun in if you put these on your gun,,,

I've seen some comments talking about having to re-zero your rifle with the Swagger installed. Is that something you had to do? Thanks for the video.

Hi, did you say you use the 29" model? I have a Caldwell bi-pod, it is the same set-up as the Harris bi-pid. Sitting in a small hunting stool, it is never long enough. It extends to 29" also. i',m not sure what other guys use for the Swagger bipod, but they always seem to have long enough legs. Jon Collins uses Swagger also. Thanks for the demonstration. Love your vids. Great Logo. Thanks for sharing.

@crphscoyoteculture120 4 жыл бұрын
If your sitting on a stool. You may want to get the longer ones. We sit on our butts and if you get on a steep hill, sometimes then 29s aren't long enough. The only Down fall to the 42s is that if you do want to lay prone, it can be a little chore to get it short enough. If you dont lay prone, you won't have a problem at all with the 42s.

thanks guys for the scope info, what make/caliber guns are you shooting? Your video helped with my decision to buy the swagger, thinking about putting it on a Savage Trophy XP .223 to thin out some coyotes.

Ok guys, New subscriber here... I just bot the Swagger Bipod and just wondering how you guys Zero your rifles... Do you zero off the Swagger? and if so, do you zero from Prone? or Sitting? And do you notice a POI shift between the 2 shooting positions? The other question I have is: What distance do you guys zero your guns at? 300 yards? 150 yards? etc...
@crphscoyoteculture120
@crphscoyoteculture120 5 жыл бұрын
Hey SageRat, we zero in the prone position using the swagger. You can lock them in place and load them up a bit and it works just fine. I do practice in sitting position but I don't don't worry about accuracy as much there, just because most of our shots here are fairly close. In the case if we do have a long range shot, as seen in the video, we will get into the prone position if possible to make the shot. So most of our sitting position shots are going to be inside that 300 yard mark, most of them anyway. We zero our rifles at a 100, that being said i run my elevation turret up to a 200 yard zero when hunting. Reason being so i can run my turret back to zero anytime and do a accurate zero check at 100 yards, little easier then 200. Hope this answers a lot of your questions.

@@crphscoyoteculture120 Thanks for the info. I appreciate it, especially on your zeroing distance. That's what I was thinking of doing with mine., glad to know I was on the right path. Looking forward to my first coyote hunt in March (Cattle killers). Got a 22-250 and 260 remington.

how is it on steadiness? my concern is that with shooting sticks you only need to focus on keeping the gun from swaying back to front. But with the swagger I feel like you're going to be fighting every direction.
@crphscoyoteculture120
@crphscoyoteculture120 6 жыл бұрын
Hey Tanner, actually with the ability to put them in the "lock" position, they act more like a Standard bipod (harris), but also have the flexibility of a shooting stick if that makes sense. I can't shoot off sticks to save my butt, swagger solves that issue for me. They are a great tool.

Is this the Gen 1 swagger bipod or Gen 2 and do you know the difference between the older model compared to the newer one?
@crphscoyoteculture120
@crphscoyoteculture120 5 жыл бұрын
These are the gen 1's. Really the main difference is the gen 2 has a detachable foot. You can take the rubber foot off and there is a spike under it. Other then that essentially the same.

How can you tell which one is the female when you have multiples come in? I always just let the lead coyote get as close as possible then shoot it, hoping I can get on the other. Sometimes I get lucky and it’s a female. I’ve shot several different color-phase coyotes from both sexes.... body sizes between the two tend to vary as well.
@crphscoyoteculture120
@crphscoyoteculture120 6 жыл бұрын
Corby May- Generally you can tell, just like a dog, cat, or even a human, (lol in most cases) the male is a little bigger/broader. Especially come breeding season, because your alpha male is going to have the female gathered up, and most likely be a big tough bass!! Not always true but is say 9/10.

How about heavy rifles?
@crphscoyoteculture120
@crphscoyoteculture120 6 жыл бұрын
Mine isn't exactly light by any means and it seems to be up to the challenge, I've had zero issues. Ive never ran it on anything heavier then a #5 contour barrel though, that being said, I run a big scope, heavy stock, and large suppressor, so there is some weight there.

you guys really need a little longer intro. Maybe 5 or 8 minutes. Maybe 23 minutes. Maybe 3 or 4 days. How about shooting for a month or two. Perhaps several people's lifetimes would be good. Or a whole geographic period.
