During this Color of Conversation with the "Swagger" creator/executive producer Reggie Rock Bythewood and legendary Olympian Dr. John Carlos, Bythewood explains his inspiration for the mass incarceration episode and how Dr. Carlos came to be a guest star of the show. Dr. Carlos, most known for raising his fist during the Mexico City Olympics in 1968, speaks an iconic line during the episode- “I am the fist."
The Apple TV series, "Swagger," follows basketball players, their families, and their coaches as they get swept up into the youth sports economy. They all must walk a fine line between dreams and ambition, and opportunism and corruption.
