Swami Vivekananda (1863-1902) and Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941) were more or less contemporaries. Rabindranath Tagore and Gandhi may agree on spiritual issues with Swami Vivekananda. To Tagore, Gandhi was a Mahatma. However, in the political plane the three had huge differences. Tagore sharply differed from the religious nationalism of Swami Vivekananda and the nationalism of Gandhi. The proof of the puddings in the eating. The followers of the rationalist Tagore were intellectually at loggerheads with those of Swami Vivekananda even during life time of the former. Today, not even a single admirer of Swami Vivekananda will whole heartedly approve of Gandhi and to them Jawaharlal Nehru the chosen man of Gandhi is an anathema.

விவேகானந்தர் உம் அதை தான் சொன்னார் இந்த பாடலும், பாஜனையும் , மெய்மறந்த நிலை எல்லாம் பணக்காரர்களின் பொழுது போக்கு , ஏழைகளுக்கு இந்த மதத்தால் என்ன நன்மை என்று தான் கேட்டார். பசியோடு இருப்பவன் முன்பு சொல்லும் ஆன்மீக உபதேசம் அவனை அவமான படுத்துவது ஆகும் என்று , முதலில் அவனுக்கு உணவு கொடுங்கள் பிறகு ஆன்மீகத்தை கொடுக்கலாம் என்று... அவரின் ஆன்மீகம் பணக்காரர்களின் போதை பழக்கம் அல்ல , அது ஏழைகளுக்கு சேவை செய்வது, உனக்குள் கடவுளை நீ உணர முடியும் என்றால் எழையிலும் அவர் இருக்கிறாரே அவரை வழிபாடு என்கிறார் அவர் . இன்னும் ஒருபடி மேலே போய் தான் சொந்த சவ்கர்யதை மட்டும் பார்த்துக்கொண்டு வழும் பணக்காரர்களை நான் நம்ப வில்லை ஏழை ஆகிய உங்களை நம்புகிறேன் நு சொல்றார்... அவர் யார் ? அவர் விசுவாமித்திரர் ராஜரிஷி அவரே விவேகானந்தர் ஆக வருகிறார் அவர் மன்னர் அவருக்கு மக்கள் முக்கியம் .

I think in one of his forward to short stories/ novel writer Jayakanthan wrote "people ask what is the parallel/ similarity between Vivekantha & Marx, and what is common between them, nothing" but I think some people know that they are one., only some can know that". Professor, u knew philosophy isn't taught by govt. School & college but all religious monastery education institutions have philosophy course. But thats all used to keep their ideology. Kanchi monastery has nyaya philosophy school in their colleges.

Its funny that Viveknanda's socialism is clashing with our Dharma shastraas. What he preached in his first speech abroad was something that is quite different creation of God.. the man who believed in the soulful grantas of vedanta ...suddenly becomes a devotee of Socialism.. the cow and the pig in the same barn!! Mary Mary quite contrary ... How does your garden grow!?? With upanishads and Vedas amidst the flowers that grow on the sides of gutters He was after all a human.. perhaps drunk with fame wanted more of it !

Socialism is a pathetic invention of most selfish politicians who want to grab all wealth of the earth and own them..distribute them according to their tenets.. if it were possible God would have done that.
