I've done a few minor weld jobs on this very machine, in the woods. The operator is very competent and is cutting and dropping the trees just the way he's supposed to.

Some of y'all fail to remember one key point; your going to drop SOMETHING on your rig 99.9 times out of 100! Logging is brutal work, they build those rigs to withstand that brutality! I've had trees kick back and BOUNCE OFF of the cab of my old stick-steer clark skidder that theoretically shoulda turned me into a pancake. LOGGING EQUIPMENT IS GOING TO GET BEAT UP! THAT'S A GIVEN! And for y'all screaming how he don't know what he's doing, obviously you don't know the ball from the bounce! He's actually throwing em correctly.... SMDH
@LeeRiderADVENTURESGoVideo4 жыл бұрын
Hulon Estis Thank you for your comment. I like the way you talk. That’s the way the ball bounces in the woods.

That the swamp logging system lay the bottom so the skidder can pull them and the feller bunched can walk on the tops that's dam smart logging hoses are cheap compared to the price of the machine sinking in to the swamp

What is the biggest tree you can cut down with that machine?
@simonmurphy96176 жыл бұрын
Its what we in the south call tripping the wood backwards helps keep shovel man from having to turn all the wood around and far as the tops hitting the engine canopy its not hurting a thing and for the Carolina logger tell me I don't know what I'm doing and put your money where your mouth is and I'll show u different my friend
@jamescarter15005 жыл бұрын
Simon Murphy you don't know what you are doing! You are throwing trees on top of a half million dollar machine! And I have about 30,000 hours in a track cutter so I'll line up beside you anytime you are ready! But it's going to cost you tuition! Let me know! I'm ready when you are. Just let me know please sir! I'll call that bluff! And just so you know I seen a Cypress top break out once came through the skylight and jammed into the air conditioner on bobby goodsons 860! Holla at me

@jamescarter15007 жыл бұрын
Susan Morgan well I guess your a dumbass then! I have over 30,000 hours in a track stumper and have cut some of just as bad of swamp that eastern North Carolina has to offer. if your throwing trees on a 450,000 dollar machine you my friend are an idiot. duplin forest products since 1970 look it up an you might just learn something. and I've been to South Georgia and seen your beautiful (routine) black gum swamp's. come down here to eastern North Carolina and get some one these popular flats! big difference. keyboard warrior! show me.
@td42williams776 жыл бұрын
James Carter exactly what I was thinking. Dropping trees on a machine is definitely not the done thing

@jamescarter15006 жыл бұрын
Five high nah it won't hurt it! Just rip hoses off and bend cylinder rods and beat the buncher all to shit. If you like turning wrenches and running a piece of shit then rock on. But I bet one thing when one of those tops break and come through the skylight. I bet he stops doing that shit. Dead or alive. Just trying to get out of doin shovel work
@Tanner-bg2qn6 жыл бұрын
They do this so the shovel man doesn’t have to turn the shit around. It’s done all the time dumbassrs
@jamescarter15005 жыл бұрын
@@Tanner-bg2qn thats the soul purpose for a shovel buddy! If your shovel man doesn't know how to handle a piece of wood he doesn't need to be in the seat.
@Tanner-bg2qn5 жыл бұрын
James Carter our shovel man is usually loading trucks with the other loader or by itself loading chips more than 90 percent of the time. Unless we bring all three crews together we never use it for shoveling wood.
