For a few days, Bobby and the crew were able to down some nice hardwood, load it up and get it to Georgetown. It's right before the Christmas holiday and they were planning to take a few days off. But from the flooding and lack of production the guys are working as much as they can.
When they finally get things going, they were dealt yet another cruel blow from Mother Nature. The piedmont is getting hit hard with rain and it is unavoidable that the dam at Lake Jordan must be opened. Also there is rain in Bobby's forecast as well.
Another angry stroke from the Seven Mile Road Trolls. Not to mention it seems as if the equipment is systematically breaking down, and costing to repair.

God bless you, your family, and your crew! These videos are important to show that there are Americans that work together to overcome obstacles. Hard dirty work and unbelievably staggering hardships. I was glad to see that you worked with congress to ensure the logging industry was represented. I hope people that actually work get compensation for disruptions caused by Covid-19. Maybe the news could focus on people working to do a job that needs doing to put bread on their table. My father had a saying, "if it was easy, anyone would do it". I know that he enjoyed your show. No one that specializes in the niche market of "Swamp Logging" goes to work expecting it to be easy. Kudos to your entire team.

Having done this for a living in the Adirondack Mtns of New York as a young man with cable skidders and ancient dozers,that we also fixed our selves, fighting mountain roads and 35 below winter's I love watching your challenging productions. I'm retired now from 46 years of owning over the road long distance trucks, which we also done most of our own work on. Things are not like they were in the old days! God's speed and be safe out there!

Rural North Carolina boy here. I spent some time in the military and I was lucky enough to have about a year stateside in SoCal . Myself and a couple buddies (one from CT and one from NYC) spent a lot of time in the barracks watching y’all work. I got back to NC, went to work hauling sand, got an education, and now I’m an engineer designing heavy trucks. Your show certainly had an impact on the path that I chose. Thanks for doing the work that you do and thanks for sharing!

I work for Nissan in a manufacturing plant in Mississippi and I tell you what I'd much rather be working for you cause you care about your employees and it shows . As a 38 year veteran trucker, I’ve been in just about every aspect of trucking. From construction, concrete, equipment hauling, to box trailer and ltl freight and now dispatching. One thing I’ve never done is logging, and I gotta tell ta, your drivers are awesome. To put those trucks and work in those conditions everyday is something else. Cudos to your drivers Bobby. You got a good crew.

You and your team are an inspiration Bobby.I started in the forest industry in the North Island of New Zealand in 1975 at the ripe old age of 15.It was an awesome lifestyle and time back then.Trees were 80 year old old crop Radiata. Thank you for being a voice for us loggers during these rough times. Will definitely look into the new covid relief bill and see if it offers any help for a small logger like myself here in Southwest VA. I know how you feel about break downs. I feel like I mechanic some weeks then I log. It's a never ending job. Their is always something needing repairs on a logging job. Thanks again Bobby!! Really appreciate what you do!
