Thanks for the video. My family is from Bladen County so seeing the good people from Eastern NC..remembering the fishing on the Black River is comforting. Prayers to Hunter. Thank you Bobby for making time for Hunter! As a cancer child’s Dad it is an indescribable feeling what a parent goes through. And simple things such as Hunter getting to talk to you I’m sure helped uplift him and his parents. It’s the little things when you are going through what we have to such as my 7yr old getting in a truck and moving equipment with me puts such a smile on his face that I haven’t got to see a lot in the last 8 months. God bless you all and remember even when we can’t understand that God has a plan for us even in the darkest times.

I’ll keep Hunter in prayer. I’m sure that made his day for Bobby to call him. I always look forward to the videos, just wish there were more of them. Hello Bobby/Lori & Swamp Loggers. Personally, I have to say that I was so very moved by the young man battling cancer. I would like to extend my deepest prayers to him and his family and thank you for taking time to chat with the young man & family. For Me; I’m shortly bringing a 30ish year welder/fabrication career to a close with the “Big R Date” quickly approaching. I’m jubilant that I survived that long - But terrified in having to start a new chapter in my life. I would probably be far less perplexed having one of your machines broke in five different parts for me to make whole again than what I have been feeling - Enough Of That Business. Several years ago, We had a tandem lowboy trailer that the axles & bushing(s) were completely worn out and quickly eating up sets of tires. One of our heavy equipment operators used a front end loader and with me operating a forklift to flip the trailer upside down which made cutting everything apart so much easier and quicker. With the low-boy upside down, We had the trailer ready to work on within minutes. Also with the Low-Boy upside down, The assembly of the replacement parts didn’t seem to be very bad from my recollection. After replacing the very worn out parts, We used that Low-Boy for quite a while before they replaced it for a new low-boy. I guess that I was drawn to your show due to all of the heavy equipment that you have within your arsenal for extracting the wood from the swamps. Bobby I had to retire at 67 due in part to kidney stones I was trucking off road for years I wanted to slow but not retire so I truly miss working but your videos really help I'm sure I'm not the only one so us old men thank you keepem coming

I love your video"s.I've said this before Bobby,your a great guy with a heart of gold.I worked for a farmer back in 1977,I was 17 still in school.He was a certified, "tree farmer" in NJ.He was really a guy who did very well for himself as a builder.He was tough,I didn"t complain because he paid $2.65 an hour and my previous job paid $2.50 an hour.Plus it was "off the books",he was wealthy and he "I hate to say "screwed,me real good with money,Beat me outta every dime he could.It was all chainsaw work,hard work.He wouldn"t let me cut a notch outta a tree because it took too long.Just cut a low cut half way thru and then a higher cut on the other side,tree will alway"s fall towrds the low cut side"yea,right!"Anyway,he had tractors and other toy"s to play with and it kept gas in my,283,3 on the tree,63 Chevy Impala"Loved that car,saw a very nice,white,T" bird in this vid!Heh,Gary"s a real "asset" in the shop!Feel bad for Justin,he must be one helluva mechanic.
