In 2017, the Swanage Railway held a mega-gala titled 'STRICTLY BULLEID' with five Bulleid Pacifics in attendance.
In 2024, the event was repeated on a much larger scale over the weekend of Friday 7th to Sunday 9th June titled 'STRICTLY BULLEID II' with a total of eight locos.
The eight locomotives were as follows...

- BR(S) 'Battle of Britain'-class 4-6-2 No.34081 "92 Squadron" (visiting from the Nene Valley Railway)
- BR(S) 'West Country'-class 4-6-2 No.34092 "City of Wells" (visiting from the East Lancashire Railway)
- SR rebuilt 'Merchant Navy'-class 4-6-2 No.35006 "Peninsular & Oriental S. N. Co." (visiting from the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway)
- SR rebuilt 'Merchant Navy'-class 4-6-2 No.35018 "British India Line" (visiting from West Coast Railways)
