What season is the first games - i have come across a number 17 shirt.

99% sure it was the 1994-95 season, with Dunvant newly promoted!

Looking at the sparsely populated terraces at St Helens back then only reinforces my argument that Swansea has never been a rugby loving City. So why do the WRUINATION persevere with this failed "region" where soccer rules the roost? I concede that the Swansea Ospreys were somewhat successful back in the day when they were supplemented with great players from Neath but now, in 2019, they are fighting for survival!

The Ospreys are the most successful Welsh region. Once they have a bit of success they do get bigger crowds.
