Lincoln City might not be a club you’d expect to have an Argentinian connection. But not many know that there’s another Lincoln located 7000 miles away from.the city in England. That club is called Club Rivadavia de Lincoln and in a bizarre coincidence they also play in red and white stripes like Lincoln City.
It’s a coincidence you just couldn't make up. As a Lincoln City fan who found themself in Argentina, I found it impossible to not set myself a challenge. Travel to Club Rivadavia de Lincoln with a shirt of Lincoln City, swap that shirt with the club and then bring it back to England.
That journey turned out to be some adventure. In this video I’ll tell the story of a footballing coincidence that managed to connect two clubs a world apart.
