Travis thank you for the leads on the kick up on the frame rails,,,, I greatly appreciate that I was unaware that somebody out there was making that,,,, one thing you should think of somewhere along the line you’re probably gonna pick up and a trailer... You should buy a winch like a 6000-8000 pound winch and make a plate for the back of the garage floor...Then you could winch cars in out of the garage Then use your Volkswagen off the trailer hitch is a pivot they’ll pull the car forward and then anchor to the winch in the garage floor to pull car back in. I know a couple of guys that have done that in the shops....there are a one-man shop.....So they don’t get hurt ... I think it’s a great idea....just a suggestion not spending your money take care of junkmando

GOOD STUFF GREAT VID

Those were pretty long lasting motors. Had a 74 Cheyenne Super stepside from new. Put over 200K on that motor before doing a rebuild. Never opened up for about 210K miles, the timing chain was just about to wear through the bottom of the timing cover it was so loose and one valve was beginning to wear away on one side. Sold it in 2003 when I replaced it with a new "retirement" truck. Will be interesting to see what lurks inside that cover!!!

GOOD!. like I told you once ,think. My first car I paid #50.00. Yeah. A 1950 2 DOOR WOODY WAGON. I didnt realize at 19 years of age. That I had the awesomest car ever. I wish I could go back in time. Slap me arround. Bring it back. Then Years later, marriedvwith kids. I traded a 58 VW for a 1950 Business man coupe. Life got in the way. It had to go.... I love your Ford. You do good work. Dont chop it too much. But I follow your work. You will do great..

Getting rid of that crappy old front- clipped frame has made that old Ford at least a 1,000% better! Off to the scrapper with that old frame!

Question what frame did you swap it out with?

Does a person run the risk of torquing the shoe box body by pulling it up on a pulley?
