SWAT response in Las Vegas 🚔

Las Vegas Metro Police's SWAT team responded to a suspect held up in a property off Cambridge St. The on call tactical team responded in their unmarked cars to join other units on scene with armored Lenco Bearcats. A sniper team was positioned on a nearby hill while a drone watched overhead. K9 units were also in attendance.
The suspect surrendered peacefully around 2pm on Friday, roughly 5 hours after the initial incident occurred. More can be read at: www.reviewjournal.com/crime/s...

@@DougWalton21 After seeing some unmarked rides in the UK, I prefer these. Some in the UK don't even have ELS in the rear except newer ones.

Thank you! They're take home vehicles so they generally have a low profile. A detachable roof light might be useful, or something like that Dodge has.

Fun fact on this one, I couldn't actually pick this one up on the scanner. Had to drive around a few blocks after seeing the SWAT team go by. Eventually found it after about 30 minutes. LOL! But on the whole whilst in certain areas of the USA, scanners and the PulsePoint app.

California? Statewise far more than Nevada. To get an accurate answer you have to go by department. So LASD SEB and LAPD SWAT, most likely receive more call outs per year than LV Metro.

Dodge/Ram is giving up on non-electric vehicles and Chevy has sucked for over a decade. Perhaps a Prius is more your style. Edit: And what the hell does Obama have to do with Ford or the choices of police vehicles? Last I checked, Obama was the Chevy Volt guy. He also left the presidency almost 8 years ago. Obama has nothing to do with any police department's choice of vehicles (nor did he when he was in office).
