Editing this to put the thank you first. You do the work of angels and your poor arm must be raw at this point. Thank you for going above and beyond. I haven't had a shade off my lips since I got the Polar Placid tin (I also already have Dune, Cold Smoke and Mercury Wave. Fun fact, if you pull out the tin insert, you can comfortably store 7 shades, all nicely lined up and easy to access 👍🏻). I highly highly recommend any of the four in PP, if you are super pale and like your lips on the lighter, cooler side. You don't NEED them all, so I'd pick the shade/undertone I liked best, but I have zero regrets about just getting the full tin 😆 I now even have an orangey shade that I love (never thought that would happen) that the wizards at Kaleidos somehow managed to make cool toned 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don't know how they accomplished that. Their undertones are on point though 👌🏻

I am waiting for my first bundle to arrive. The Nyx smooth whip are $12 in Canada and with the bundle and shipping Kaleidos came out to $15 each. So for a few more dollars I decided to support an indie brand. I ordered Golden Roisen, Cognac, Terra and Cold Smoke.

Last week I made my first Kaleidos purchase. I re-watched all of your lip clay videos first. I built a bundle with Cognac, Terra, Dahlia and Pink Himalaya. I chose Pink Himalaya because it looks so amazing on you, and we have the same skin undertone. Your videos were incredibly helpful. And this one made me feel like I made the best choices for me. Eccentric cosmetics is an Etsy brand based in Australia and her lip formula is even better than the lip clays. It’s so lightweight but pigmented and easy to work with. It’s not streaky despite being multichrome lip colors and some are very deep (I’ve only tried the multichromes). Notiriously morbid also has an excellent lip formula.

Girl!!! THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO! ❤ I’ve been wanting someone to do this. I have curated two bundles previously and was looking to see how close cold smoke is to echo valley and seeing it against your skin is super duper helpful for me 😊 my skin is super cool toned and warm tones tend to look crazy on me. I find it best for me to stick to cool to neutral tones. How do you like Siren on yourself?

I am warm and will only mess with Kaleidos cool lip colors. I agree that there is nothing that really compares to these lip products.

I picked up Mercury wave & dune in Dec to give them a try. They are very comfy though I haven't worn them enough to test how they last. Love mercury but dune is too close to my lips and I'd rather just go bare. I thought it may be a tad more pink mauve. I had trouble pinking a pink, they are all too natural lip colors. I do love the mercury color though, it's not even as weird as I thought, can easily wear it to the office the 1 day a week I go in haha.

Thanks for your work! U trust your swatches because I have found that what I see in my screen tends to be pretty accurate for my skintone (I have corroborated this with your colourpop swatches!) Although my skin is medium to light, and I have a cool olive tone, I usually go for cool tones, but technically I can get away with some warm tones as well. Im gravitating towards Rosefire, Wild Apple and Mercury Waves. And for the 4th, Im debating between Queen of the Night or Siren, but both are way darker than what Im used to, but they look super beautiful!

Your poor arm! But thank you for swatching these and giving your opinion. I love the look of matte lips but they always make my dry lips feel so awful. Hearing you say that you like these even though you have dry lips gives me hope. Maybe this is the matte formula I can wear without feeling like my lips will shrivel up and fall off!
