According to Brian Goulet who has the Goulet Pen Company, they have over 800 colors to choose from ! Can you imagine?! It amazes me...but how fun to have so many colors, hmm??!!

The most eye catching one I thought for some reason was the underwater parrot fish...I don't even like light blues but..that one I liked a lot. I can see it in a nice tropical blue pen.

What a nice job of everything! Those Diamine footed bottles - swoon! you have some inks I hadn't heard of but then I haven't purposefully looked for anything new in a couple of years. Of the inks you have that I also have - many are in my collection. I have many pens but they are all

I’m after some good fleshtones for both light and dark skins (I use inks for illustrations, I mean I journal with it too but my main use is artwork) So far, I’m eyeing Sailor 173, as well as FWP Lady Rose and that “Anchor Rust” color, but I’d love a roster

Rouille d’ancre is a definite for light skin tone, and I think out of my inks Diamine Sepia and Tobacco Sunset would be good too, the latter would be gorgeous for shading darker tones. I’m more of a grey and blue/green girl so I don’t have much I think that would help you, but Herbin did a collaboration or special edition ink called “nude” (problematic name but… yeah) and Robert Oster recently did a collection of Earth-toned inks that may have some good ones for fleshtones. Hope that helps!

Curious question for you. Why do you say Sailor as being your favourite ink? Easy to work with? Variety of colours? Price? I never used these types of inks before. Perhaps someday. I find your videos calming. So the music is great 😊

All my Sailor inks flow really well in all of my pens (Sailor is my favourite for pens too and teaming a sailor ink with a sailor pen is just 👌), and they also have so many of my favourite colours (mostly the lighter colours that have lots of shading like Haha, Nekoyanagi, 123, 224, etc). But they are a little on the expensive side and some of the popular colours can be really hard to get hold of (I even have a spare bottle of my favourite!).
