I had never heard of Oddisee until this but I freakin love him. I know I kept rewinding just so I could hear him spit over and over and over. Not to mention that beat was so freakin hot; straight fire. Oddisee on that beat was a perfect combination. After hearing him on Sway I went and listened to his album and it was great. I could actually listen to his whole album straight through. I also, love how humble he is. I keep seeing people say how he's been around for a minute and been putting in work, well maybe God has been protecting him and his gift from being exploited by this dirty rap game. Greatness is not always celebrated and appreciated and may go undiscovered, but it's still greatness.

+Pass It On You see how Oddisee was listening to the beat before he started the verse? He was listening to the beat with a producer's ear. Beat was nice but Oddisee will take it and make it his. Oddisee is a producer first and clearly when he does his album he produces his own music but will guest on another artist or producer's album, so I don't think Mr. Porter will be producing on a Oddisee album no time soon. Nice beat though.

Sway, you should invite that whole low budget crew on the set. Oddisee, Kev Brown, Yu, Kenn Starr, etc. All those artists bring something unique to the table. I wanna see Brown turn out the beats and hear the others flow over them. That'd be too dope for mainstream listeners tho
