indeed. isley brothers sung about the same topic, love, for like 60 years and are still doing it. and they've been flying in private jets and making millions the entire time. but when people get rich, they tend to isolate themselves around other rich people so they lose touch with the world. instead of talking about managing wealth, we as a people need our wealthy/successful people to do their part to help our neighborhoods/innercity schools. guys like leslie represent 1% of our race. we're only 12% of the country, yet all our rich people refuse to invest in black neighborhoods. we dont rent homes from black people, we dont have black stores, or any black businesses in our own neighborhoods. yet these guys want to talk about being wealth managers? how about you guys who are wealthy move back to the inner-city black neighborhoods so that your tax dollars can go towards making the schools better? the streets better? invest in the homes in the hood..invest in the stores...live amongst your people so that they can see positive influences instead of gangsters/gangs. respect to Leslie, but these guys can do way more important work than talking about wealth management.

Me too. I've seen this movie before. Sounds like a new hustle. Black influencers are late to this course, mastermind, live event model that most credible white influencers pioneered, been on and then got off the past 5 years or so. They got off cause of white scammers destroying the reputation of the business model. Now Blacks inflluencers are on it. What happened to his tech product? I don't doubt he's making money trading. Nothing wrong with switching lanes. But this let me teach my people the game and the play is a concern. Here is the dead give away that this is NOT smart for the Sway citizens to do. He is a MUSIC PRODUCER. His expertise is music. His 10K hours of expertise is in music. Sure he's a prodigy. Sure he's likely skilled in many areas. But this seems to be a bit random. Lately it seems to be the play for entertainers who aren't making bread off music anymore to find fresh ways to "monetize their audience." Also, another dead giveaway to smoke out these new Black community "let me teach you how to be rich like white people" gurus is they don't have investment series 7 or 63 license? Why would I pay someone (a music producer prodigy) that kind of money who don't even have these basic licenses? That would be more convincing in proposing a course and showing yourself to be different than the those caught scamming us. Basically, we are paying for access to him to get info we can get for free off KZfaq. Or just enroll in a college Finance course for equal or less money you'd pay him to learn about financial markets. You could likely go to wallstreet and find a day trader and say I'll pay you 100 buck an hour to teach me how to trade. That would be a better and wiser investment than paying Ryan who does NOT have a track record of success as a trader...a few successful trades are not impressive or enough to teach others for the price he's charging. Go find someone whose doing this and learn directly from them. They'd likely appreciate your hunger and teach you for free. I wouldn't even pay that kind of money to someone with a license. I'm going to pay you over several thousand dollars for you to mentor me. Then the other red flag is you are marketing to a Black Hip Hop audience who DO NOT have that kind of money. What they going to invest with? If you don't need the money, you can still mentor and charge a more affordable fee and limit the # of people to accommodate your bandwidth to work one on one. Why do they always come to these audiences to market these expensive wealth building programs Im sorry Ryan Don't trust this. I'm so sick of this crap.. If your heart is for the people and you don't need the money and you really want to teach the people,...GIVE YOUR KNOWLEDGE AWAY. Volunteer a set amount of time and you can still get the same outcome you are promoting and not spread yourself too thin. Again, don't trust this. And only a matter of time before he's featured on Pocket Watching with JT.

@@clarityspeakz He really was avoiding giving a straight answer to Tracy's two questions - he made it look like he was, but factually he wasn't. He basically sounds like any other Grant Cardone-ish wannabe financial mentor, talking more about "mentality" and "mindsets" than hard financial facts, other than those generic wisdoms that anyone can look up in 5 minutes like "Short trading is more risky than long term trading". Yeah, who would've thought, Sherlock - that kind of generic knowledge and a Harvard degree doesn't make you a finance expert, sorry. Also, the fact that this is another "lifetime" product like his music membership club, shows me he actually hasn't learned much from that, he's basically a one trick pony when it comes to that.

He's made millions in Tech and from investing, not from making beats. He's not the "guru," the OG he met at Harvard is the guy that taught him how to invest. Whatever he made from music, he's made more from tech and investing. His producer contracts weren't great, which is why he went the Direct to consumer route.

Did I miss that part in the interview where he told us how much he paid to be mentored. All those facts still does NOT justify him coming to the Hip Hop community with this. It's naive at best to expect many in this audience being able to afford what he's selling. It's exploitation at worse knowing we Black Americans are the easiest consumer to fool.We are so thirsty for significance and respect in America. And the way we think we will get it from becoming "rich like the white man." Doing what the white man is doing--running xyz "play" Again, I know how he made his money investing in tech. The gag is at a certain level making a lot of money is EASY and can be done relatively fast these days. But he's talking about teaching people how to trade --which is risky. Again, he's been doing this for years, why NOW is he motivated to come teach "us?" I hope I'm wrong. Why not put the info in a book? Why such a high price point? The product-audience price point fit doesn't seem to be a match. I'm happy to stand corrected and be proven wrong. I don't have to be right here. Speaking from my gut and having worked with real estate investors closing $6M in multifamily transactions. I know how experienced investors move. This is how people great at marketing move to sell an inferior product. He's giving Grant Cardone.
