Hello Scott. This was a really nice video to watch like all of the rest of them. My son Lew and I watch every single one and hit the like button every time. True you didn't find many bottles during this exploring and on this video. You did find that really nice one that says Maine on it. Lew and I have never have seen those before either. hi Scott, if west Virginia is anything like Georgia or South Carolina, a hundred years ago people in rural areas did not have much to through away. It seems that things picked up after the depression that's why you find more of the 1940s and 50s stuff . and anyway, older bottles would be well buried. Down embankments.

I have some land in Keystone WV near Welch it has a house that was built in 1910 I'm hoping to find some bottles there or in the creek behind it

Go to Volcano West Virginia. There are bottle dumps there. Good ones. Research the old Oil Boom Camps there. Bottles all over them
