Swearin' is a spunky, insular alternative rock band founded by Allison Crutchfield and Kyle Gilbride. The duo went on hiatus in 2015 so Crutchfield could hone her solo performance skills and Gilbride could focus on recording and producing DIY bands like Waxahatchee, Girlpool, All Dogs, and Quarterbacks. 2018's "Fall Into the Sun" is a return to form; evidence of a fully realized band whose healthy companionship reveals itself through solid production and catchy, meaningful songwriting.
Recorded on October 18, 2018 in Chicago, IL.

I used to see Allison and her twin sister at a DIY venue here called cave 9 in Birmingham when they were both still in high school and they were already super great to see them able to be so successful.

Same man, I was into their second record a little, but I saw them play with Mike krol a few weeks back and they just blew me away, pickin up where superchunk left off

I discovered this band at a record store in Hollywood (Amoeba). They were playing their record and it fuckin rocked! Their record is awesome!!! I love this Band!!!!!

i love their ep "what a dump" such an awesome band. sadie dupuis had described them as the breeders. i love the breeders but i think swearin' is more consistent with rocking tracks.
