Stockholm is the capital of Sweden. It has the most populous urban area in Sweden as well as in Scandinavia. 1 million people live in the municipality, approximately 1.6 million in the urban area, and 2.4 million in the metropolitan area. The city stretches across fourteen islands where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea. Outside the city to the east, and along the coast, is the island chain of the Stockholm archipelago. The area has been settled since the Stone Age, in the 6th millennium BC, and was founded as a city in 1252 by Swedish statesman Birger Jarl. It is also the county seat of Stockholm County.

Hello from Melbourne, Australia where we're having summer but currently the temperature is 19C and it's been raining all day. I'm sure it's not intentional, but this time you actually walked past the gelateria I wanted to visit in Stockholm: La Gelateria Sofo (between Igor Sport and Fabrique Stenugnsbageri Skanstull) as people have commented on their pistachio gelato and which is the kind I love. I'm looking forward to walking along this street, eating gelato with no fear of it melting outside my mouth 😝 The first video I commented about this place was your Skanstull video. Great winter walk! ❄️ I live in the south of Bavaria, about 40km north of Castle Neuschwanstein. Last weekend, we got 50cm snow over night. It was a bit scary but I really love how the snow absorbs all the noise. We had minus 15 degrees yesterday, today we are above 0. So it has started to melt. I am sure, Christmas will be green again. 😂 I really love Christmas Songs. Old and new. Especially "Last Christmas" by Wham. I know, everbody hates it. I don't. 😄

I miss Södermalm! I found a Filipino restaurant in that area when I was there last October and was craving for Filipino Food (I guess I can’t get away from it) and love it! The neighborhoods are quiet and it was absolutely gorgeous! I would defenitely explore that area when I come back, hopefully soon!

As requested - I live in Sydney and it is now summer. Today at lunch time Thursday the temp is 31 celsius. Tomorrow 37, and saturday will be around 42. I live away from the coast so it is a bit warmer. here And yes, like many Aussies my house is fully air conditioned thank goodness. Pedicure is correct. 😃

Hi Daniel! Great walk in Södermalm. You walked in Sofo (South of Folkungagatan) and I couldn´t se even one hipster in the streets! Maybe it was to early in the day or to cold. Greta Garbo grew up on Blekingegatan, the street You walked along a bit. At that time her name was Greta Gustafsson. Later she became a movie legend in Hollywood, in her time as well known as Mick Jagger or Madonna are today. Greatings from a cold and snowy Halmstad! /Ulf

No going to Stockholm at this time...not even with a good pay $€$...No way. Here in LA=Paradise 74°F/23°C. Agree McDonald's = Shit = Caca = Scheisse Fattening garbage food, just thanks US for its clean delicious addictive toxic garbage food and beverages. You're also at " Christmas " songs...you've got to love hearing the old ones and Michael Blubé 24/7 . Once in a while do a running in Stockholm...just a suggestion
