Ever wondered how planting soil gets delivered in large quantities? This is a video I recorded this summer, when I still had this truck. Enjoy! Music used in this video; ---------------- Silent Partner - DC Love Go Go • Video

That is quite a system of unloading. Looks like the trailer could tip over sometimes. Just brush away the loose soil and away you go. I see you have your four-legged friends with you. Always fun to see a friendly face when you open the door.!! Stay safe Cassie. Always enjoy your videos....

Wondering how much pressure those thin sides can withstand ? Lifting sides & tilting is a great idea - we don't do it in the UK. We would use 3/4 axle, or 5/6 axle artic, rear tippers. Interesting how different countries develop different solutions. (after watching your lovely vids for a year or two, I realised I hadn't watched from the beginning, so I've started working through them 😊)

That stretch on the little one. Nice. How does that rig you are driving pass inspection with what looks like huge cracks in the windshield?
@gaborkrammer4 жыл бұрын
as gravel widely used on slippery roads, this happens to almost all trucks in scandinavia. The authorities therefore not very strict on this subject, if the crack is not in your line of sight , its okay.
@turemickelsson4804 жыл бұрын
@@gaborkrammer to be fair, it happens mostly on trucks that keep a short distance to other vehicles;) And using the blower with full effect on the windshield doesn't help when it is really could. My experience is that cracks are rare, I never got a new crack.

That's so weird looking when you empty the truck. My mind can't get around how it doesn't just flip over. All our trucks here in USA unload out of the back, and some uncommon types unload from the bottom but those are for niche jobs. Have you ever flipped or seen someone flip a truck when u loading?
@TruckerCassie4 жыл бұрын
Yeah it happens, but not too often gladly! I never did it but I've heard of loads that have frozen during the night, and doesn't let go when you start to tilt. Scary stuff!
@turemickelsson4804 жыл бұрын
These rigs often load timber packages and other goods for the return trip. Other European also countries use walking floor trailers for the same purpose.

There are women here, Leif, lots of us. But truckers are still mostly men. I'm a retired diesel truck mechanic. Of all the men I worked with, probably 40 or so, there were only two other women besides myself. In school, girls aren't told about the option of truck mechanics or truck driving, so we need start back there in the younger years.

I have never seen a rig like that. Is equipt with support legs too. Here´s a question off the topics. How come there aren´t any women writing any comment´s or ask´s question´s about anything. By now, 2022 is the trucker industri still so male dominated. I doubt that, or is it only in sweden women has found a place in the trucking industry
