TRAIN DRIVER'S VIEW: Regional Southbound Service ( Stockholm to Norrköping via Katrineholm )

Күн бұрынIn this Train Driver's View video we embark on a late summer journey southbound from Stockholm to Norrköping via Katrineholm. This is with the Alstom X40 EMU. At Flen there is a technical problem with the platform roof at track 1 which leads to some "right hand side"-driving.

Really enjoying this fast run through the countryside. As you are pulling into the station at time stamp 19 minutes, if you look to the left and down on the water, there is a RORO ship docked and taking on vehicles. Nice to see what is happening around as the train moves past things. Wondered if there is a Volvo plant close by where these vehicles may have come from.

I think they are actually importing cars at this port.

@@thomast6241 Could be overall, but in this video you can see the vehicles driving up the ramp into the ship.

@@thomast6241 depends on what model. irrc the xc40 is built in belgium, the s90 in china unless its a more expensive one and all the v90's are built in sweden

No, no Volvo plant in Södertälje. But Scania, the truck maker, has its main plant there.
