She has such a beautiful husky voice. A natural talent. I'm glad she had such a nurturing family, that recognised her talent. She is an icon now.

Brenda was born in 1944. The song "Sweet Nothin's" was released as a single in 1959 when she was 15.

You can tell exactly how much she likes a song by her movements and look on her face. Some she 'has' to sing and some she loves singing. Incredible voice every time though. What a girl!

great music....and fantastic artists...no electrical acoustics...they just opened their mouths and sang and played...and even today the electronic music cannot compete with them. These entertainers were Stars with God Given Talent.

To all you folks - This is not Brenda Lee as the announcer seems to indicate, but Texas born young singer Avery Winter. Notice the modern cordless microphone. 🎤 This was recorded in the year 2010, when Avery was around 9 or 10. Avery has many other songs and performances in colour video on KZfaq. 📺🎤 I want to be a 🌟like Elvis and Brenda Lee.🎙️?🙄

I grew up listening to this song along with tons of late 1950’s songs at my grandparents house ever since I was a toddler. Then in 2013 Kanye West sampled Brenda’s vocals for a whole new generation, so people would be looking back at this kinda music even more. Sadly my grandfather is no longer alive, but he introduced me to some great catchy timeless tunes. :)

Funny part is, Brenda Lee didn't grow to be much taller than this, hence the name "Little Miss Dynamite." Saw her in person & she is such a lovely lady. Very sweet too. Thank you Brenda, for such a powerful voice on such a tiny frame. What a DYNAMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those of us who grew up and old with Brenda know what a wonderful person she turned out to be...and she apparently had and has a great life because of being what most men would call a perfect wife. Those of us who came of age with Brenda sure as hell miss those good old days...a time when women were women, a time when lover and wife meant the same thing.

Had me fooled too for a short while but this singer is Avery Winter who was 8 yrs old in 2010. The real Benda Lee would have been 8 yrs old in 1953 well before before Sweet Nothings was written, and before the Twist dance was popular (1959 - 60). Great retro reproduction right down to the black & white video simulating Grand Ole Opry of the 1950's

You can see Avery White in colour KZfaq videos and she is using a similar cordless microphone.🎤📺📽️🙄 Also the announcer confused the audience by introducing her as Brenda Lee, this video was made in 2010, the stage sign says WSN Grand Old Opry, and the show is made to look like it was filmed in the early 50's. Those cordless microphones media used ones and stage were patented in the U.S. in 1957, and rarely ever used on stage by performers. Avery Winter is around 20 years old now, so in 2010 she was about 10, as you can see here in this video. 🆗🎤🌟🙄
