The content I create is meant for those who already have an understanding of cold process soap making. Cold process soapmaking involves working with sodium hydroxide (NaOH, also referred to as lye). Lye and raw soap can permanently damage your eyes and burn your skin. Hi Holly. Love your videos. I was so excited when the feather technique produced a beautiful design in my soap then it bled into the soap. Could you suggest what I may have done wrong? The main was cacao coloured, the feather activated charcoal. Now it’s all a very dark brown.
